ThermalTag
ThermalTag is a web + desktop app (desktop uploader, web dashboard) that converts conservation drone thermal flights into defensible wildlife counts and hotspot maps. Teams upload thermal video or image sequences plus basic flight metadata; the app runs detection, tracks moving targets across frames, and outputs a reviewable “audit trail” (clips, timestamps, confidence, and reviewer notes) so results can be used in reports and grant deliverables. It also includes a simple mission library: repeatable transects, seasonal baselines, and change-over-time comparisons to show population trends without requiring a data scientist. This is an AI + traditional app: AI handles detection/tracking; traditional workflows handle QA, labeling, and reporting. Reality check: it won’t replace field surveys everywhere, and false positives will happen in dense canopy or hot ground—so the product is built around fast human verification, not magical automation.
