ThermLedger

ThermLedger is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that turns messy thermal storage operations into verifiable performance and savings reports. It ingests time-series data from BMS/SCADA, heat meters, temperature sensors, and utility tariffs, then normalizes it into a consistent “thermal ledger” of charge/discharge events, losses, and delivered heat/cool. The core value is Measurement & Verification (M&V): it generates finance- and utility-friendly documentation for rebates, ESCO contracts, and internal capex justification. It flags bad sensors, missing data, and drift, and it quantifies uncertainty so users don’t overclaim savings. This is not a magic optimizer; it’s a practical accounting layer that helps operators and energy managers answer: Did the tank actually shift load? How much did we save? What’s the degradation over time? It supports common storage types: hot water tanks, chilled water tanks, and PCM systems.
