ThermoArb

ThermoArb is a web + mobile app for operators of thermal energy storage (TES) systems—chilled water, hot water, ice storage, and PCM tanks—who want reliable savings without constant manual tuning. It connects to existing BMS/SCADA (BACnet/Modbus via a gateway) and utility tariff data to build a simple charge/discharge schedule that targets peak shaving and demand-charge reduction while respecting comfort and process constraints. The app provides a live “state of thermal charge,” forecasted building load, and a recommended dispatch plan with an operator approval workflow (because full autonomy is often blocked by risk and compliance). It also generates measurement & verification reports that finance teams can trust, showing baseline vs. actual demand and energy costs. This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps forecast load and optimize schedules, but controls remain rule-guarded and auditable to avoid unsafe or uncomfortable outcomes.
