ThermoProof

ThermoProof is a mobile + web app that helps reptile and amphibian keepers design and validate enclosure climate before (and after) they build. Users enter enclosure dimensions, materials (glass/PVC/wood), room conditions, heating/lighting gear, ventilation layout, and target species parameters. The app generates a practical build plan: recommended wattage ranges, probe placement map, ventilation adjustments, and a step-by-step tuning checklist. It also supports optional sensor logging (Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi devices) to compare real readings vs targets and highlights likely causes of instability (over-venting, incorrect basking distance, poor insulation, wet substrate spikes). This is not magic: it won’t perfectly predict every microclimate, but it will reduce common expensive mistakes (wrong heater size, unsafe basking temps, chronic low humidity) and give a repeatable method to reach stable gradients faster.
