ThermoTruce

ThermoTruce helps households, roommates, and small offices prevent “thermostat wars” by turning comfort into a transparent, agreed-upon system. Users connect a smart thermostat (or log settings manually), set quiet hours, define comfort ranges, and choose a fairness policy (e.g., rotate preferences, majority vote, or health-first rules). The app tracks changes, estimates cost impact, and shows who changed what and when—without being creepy. It proposes weekly “comfort budgets” and simple compromises like pre-cooling, zoned schedules, or fan/blanket alternatives. A lightweight social layer lets members propose changes, negotiate, and lock schedules with consent. It’s not magic: it won’t fix bad insulation or incompatible roommates, but it can reduce conflict, cut waste, and make energy decisions feel less arbitrary. Monetization: freemium for households; paid plans for property managers and small offices.
