ThirdPlace

ThirdPlace helps lonely adults build real, recurring, low-pressure friendships by matching them into small “micro-groups” (4–6 people) around a specific routine: a weekly walk, coffee, board games, coworking, or a museum hour. Instead of endless swiping, you commit to a time slot and neighborhood, then the app handles logistics: suggested venues, calendar holds, and a lightweight attendance check-in. An AI facilitator proposes icebreakers and simple group norms, and it flags patterns that usually kill groups (no-shows, one person dominating, scheduling chaos). The product is intentionally narrow: it optimizes for consistency over novelty. Monetization is straightforward: a subscription for unlimited group joins, plus optional paid “hosted” events with vetted local partners. The goal is to turn “I should meet people” into a predictable weekly habit.
