ThreadFence is a web + desktop communication platform for regulated teams (finance, healthcare, public sector) that need fast messaging but cannot risk data leakage or audit gaps. It combines Slack-like channels and DMs with policy-aware controls: automatic retention rules, eDiscovery-ready exports, and “safe share” links that prevent forwarding, copying, or downloading sensitive files. The AI layer classifies messages and attachments in real time (PII/PHI/PCI, client names, account numbers) and warns users before they send, while also suggesting redactions and approved templates. Admins get a clear compliance dashboard, incident trails, and role-based access that maps to real org structures. This is not trying to replace every collaboration tool; it focuses on being the messaging system you can actually pass audits with, without forcing employees back to email.
