ThreadFence

ThreadFence is a mobile + web messaging platform designed for teams that can’t afford chat sprawl, leaks, or endless retention. It combines traditional messaging with AI-assisted governance: every channel has a clear retention policy (e.g., 7/30/90 days), automatic redaction of sensitive data (PII, card numbers), and “decision threads” that summarize outcomes into a lightweight log before messages expire. Users can still search within allowed windows, export approved decision logs, and set “no-forward” rules for high-risk rooms. Admins get simple compliance controls without running a full enterprise suite: policy templates, audit trails for key actions, and role-based access. The product is intentionally narrower than Slack/Teams: fewer integrations, less customization, more guardrails. It’s built for organizations where messaging is necessary but uncontrolled messaging is a liability.
