ThreadProof helps men avoid wasting money on flimsy shirts, pants, and outerwear by turning product pages into clear, comparable quality signals. It’s a mobile + web AI app that analyzes listing photos, fabric composition, care labels, seams, stitching density, lining, zippers/buttons, and pattern matching, then assigns a “Build Score” with plain-English explanations. Users can scan barcodes in-store or paste a URL online to get a quick verdict, plus side-by-side comparisons across brands and price tiers. The app also tracks durability outcomes: users log wear-and-tear (pilling, seam splits, shrinkage) and upload photos, creating a crowdsourced reliability index that improves recommendations over time. It won’t magically know everything—some garments require touch—but it will reliably flag obvious red flags, misleading marketing terms, and poor construction patterns. The goal is fewer returns, fewer regret buys, and a tighter, longer-lasting closet.
