ThrottleWatch

ThrottleWatch is a mobile + web app that helps users and small organizations detect and document potential ISP throttling, prioritization, or blocking in a way that’s harder to dismiss than random speed tests. The mobile app runs scheduled, battery-aware tests across multiple protocols (HTTPS, QUIC, DNS, video segments) and compares performance against control endpoints and known-neutral baselines. It automatically tags results with network type, ASN/ISP, location granularity, device model, and time-of-day patterns, then generates a shareable “evidence packet” (charts, raw logs, methodology) for complaints, journalism, or internal IT escalation. An AI assistant summarizes anomalies and suggests follow-up tests, but the core value is transparent measurement and reproducible methodology. Realistically, it won’t “prove” intent in court; it will provide credible, repeatable signals and a clean paper trail that most people currently lack.
