TideLogix
TideLogix is a mobile + web app for marine biologists, NGOs, and consultants to capture standardized aquatic wildlife observations in the field and turn them into clean, exportable datasets fast. It focuses on the boring-but-expensive pain: inconsistent notes, lost GPS context, messy spreadsheets, and delayed reporting to funders or regulators. Users create project templates (species list, behaviors, gear, habitats), then log sightings offline with GPS, timestamp, photos, and quick-coded attributes. Back at the office, the web dashboard syncs everything, flags missing fields, and generates ready-to-submit exports (CSV, Darwin Core-ish mappings, and simple PDF summaries). This is not a consumer “identify fish” toy; it’s a workflow tool that saves billable hours and reduces data QA headaches. Realistically, the wedge is small teams that can’t afford enterprise ecology platforms but still need defensible data.
