TierPulse is a web app (with optional mobile alerts) that helps mid-market manufacturers and brands uncover and monitor tier-2 and tier-3 supply chain exposure without a full-blown enterprise suite. Users upload a supplier list, invite key suppliers to privately disclose their upstream dependencies, and get a continuously updated “single points of failure” map. The app tracks disruption signals (port congestion, sanctions, natural hazards, financial distress) against critical nodes and generates practical recovery playbooks: approved alternates, pre-negotiated substitution rules, and time-to-recover estimates by part. It’s an AI-assisted app: AI helps normalize messy supplier data, classify parts, and draft mitigation actions, but the core value is structured workflows and verified supplier attestations. It’s realistic for teams that can’t afford SAP/Oracle-level tooling but still need defensible resilience reporting for customers and insurers.
