TileTally

TileTally is a mobile + web app that turns a bathroom remodel into a trackable, reality-based budget and scope plan. Users enter room dimensions, select fixture tiers (budget/mid/premium), and choose labor assumptions (DIY, handyman, licensed trades). The app generates a line-item cost range, a shopping list with quantities (tile, grout, backer board, waterproofing, vanity, toilet, lighting), and a week-by-week sequence so users don’t schedule work in the wrong order. It also flags common hidden costs (subfloor repair, water damage, code-required GFCI, ventilation, disposal fees) and forces users to add contingency. This is not a marketplace for bids; it’s a decision tool that helps homeowners avoid the most common failure: underestimating cost and time. It’s intentionally conservative and will sometimes tell users they can’t afford their plan.
