TimberTrace is a mobile + web AI app for small-to-mid forestry operators to document chain-of-custody and legality evidence without drowning in paperwork. Crews capture geotagged stump photos, harvest permits, load tickets, and mill receipts in the field (offline), then the system auto-builds an audit-ready dossier per lot. An AI assistant flags missing documents, inconsistent dates/locations, and suspicious patterns (e.g., harvest outside permitted polygons). Buyers can scan a QR code on an invoice to view a shareable, tamper-evident summary that supports EUDR/Lacey-style compliance. This isn’t a “save the forest” social app; it’s a compliance and sales-enablement tool that reduces rejected shipments and payment delays. Realistically, the product lives or dies on trust, ease of use for crews, and integrations with existing ticketing and GIS workflows.
