TimeCapsul

TimeCapsul is a mobile app for long-distance friends who keep saying “we should catch up” and then don’t. Instead of real-time chat, you create short “time capsules” (voice, photo, or text) that unlock on a scheduled date or when both friends complete a tiny prompt (e.g., “share one win this week”). The app nudges lightly, then stops—no endless notifications. Each capsule becomes a private timeline you can replay, turning sporadic contact into a shared story without demanding constant availability across time zones. It includes a simple “availability window” setup so deliveries land when the other person is likely awake. Monetization is straightforward: free tier with limited capsules per month; paid tier for unlimited capsules, higher-quality audio storage, and shared annual recap videos. This is not therapy or social media; it’s a structured, low-pressure way to stay present over distance.
