TimeTraceRT
TimeTraceRT is a web + desktop app for engineers running real-time systems (streaming, trading, gaming, industrial control) who need to find where latency is actually coming from—without buying an expensive, sprawling observability suite. It ingests timestamped events from services, message buses, and edge devices, then reconstructs end-to-end timelines with clock-skew detection and hop-by-hop latency breakdowns. The app highlights tail-latency regressions, queue buildup, GC pauses, and network jitter, and correlates them to deploys and config changes. It’s not magic: you still need instrumentation and decent time sync, and it won’t replace full APM. But it gives a focused, practical view of “what caused the spike” for real-time paths, with lightweight SDKs and a strict emphasis on p95/p99 and deadline misses rather than vanity averages.
