TimeZoneOps

TimeZoneOps is a web app (with Slack/Google Calendar add-ons) that prevents remote teams from repeatedly wasting time on meeting coordination and “when are you online?” confusion. It builds a shared, privacy-respecting availability map from calendars, declared working hours, and optional passive signals (e.g., Slack active windows), then recommends the smallest set of overlapping hours that keeps projects moving. It also flags “meeting debt” (too many syncs) and suggests async alternatives: pre-filled agenda templates, decision logs, and a lightweight handoff checklist for cross-time-zone work. The goal is not to replace your calendar—it’s to make it obvious when collaboration is realistically possible and when it’s not. Teams can set rules like “no meetings before 9am local” and “protect maker time,” and the app enforces them during scheduling.
