TokenTidy

TokenTidy is a web + desktop app that audits and fixes design-token chaos across Figma and code. It scans your token sources (Figma variables, JSON, Style Dictionary outputs, Tailwind config) and flags duplicates, inconsistent naming, unreachable aliases, contrast failures, and “almost-the-same” values that bloat systems. It then proposes safe refactors: merge candidates, rename maps, alias chains, and migration plans with diffs you can review. The goal isn’t pretty dashboards—it’s preventing slow, expensive UI drift that shows up as inconsistent spacing, colors, and typography across products. Export updated token files, generate changelogs, and create PR-ready patches. It’s brutally pragmatic: if your system is small, you won’t need it; if you have multiple teams and brands, it saves real engineering and design time.
