Users paste a message (text, WhatsApp, email) and choose both cultures plus relationship context (partner, parent, sibling). The app flags likely friction points—directness, sarcasm, formality, saving face, gift/visit expectations—and suggests 2-3 rewrites: “warm,” “neutral,” and “firm but respectful.” It also provides a quick “why this might land badly” explanation and a one-tap follow-up question to clarify intent. A lightweight “relationship norms” profile lets couples agree on defaults (response time, money talk, family involvement) and generates a shared cheat sheet. It’s not therapy and won’t fix incompatibility, but it can reduce avoidable blowups caused by tone and assumptions.
