ToneProof is a mobile + web AI add-on that reviews messages before you send them and flags likely interpersonal landmines: passive-aggression, ambiguity, accidental harshness, power-dynamics issues, and missing context. You paste (or share) a draft from Slack, iMessage, WhatsApp, Teams, or email, select the relationship (manager, peer, client, partner) and intent (request, boundary, apology, feedback), and it returns 2–4 rewritten options with predicted “tone risk” and a short rationale. It also suggests a single clarifying question when the message is likely to trigger back-and-forth. The product is not a “write everything for you” bot; it’s a lightweight pre-flight check that reduces conflict and time wasted in clarification loops. MVP focuses on English, short-form messages, and workplace + co-parenting scenarios where tone mistakes are costly.
