ToneReceipt

ToneReceipt is a mobile + desktop (keyboard extension + browser plugin) AI-assisted message coach for couples and close relationships. You paste (or type) a draft text, DM, or email, select the relationship context (partner, co-parent, long-distance, sensitive topic), and the app scores it for likely misread tone, defensiveness triggers, and ambiguity. It then offers 2–3 rewrites: “clear & kind,” “firm boundary,” and “repair attempt,” plus a one-line intent statement you can add (“My goal is…”). It also includes a lightweight “after-send” check-in: did the conversation escalate, resolve, or stall, so the model learns your patterns. This isn’t therapy and won’t fix incompatible relationships; it’s a practical tool to reduce avoidable fights caused by rushed, poorly phrased messages. Privacy is central: local redaction for names/addresses and optional on-device mode for drafts.
