ToneShield

ToneShield is a mobile + web AI app that helps employees communicate safely with difficult bosses without sounding passive, defensive, or insubordinate. You paste a draft Slack/Teams message or email, select your boss style (micromanager, volatile, dismissive, unpredictable), and choose your intent (push back, ask for clarity, set boundaries, escalate, say no). The app rewrites your message in 2–3 options with different levels of firmness and includes a quick “risk meter” explaining what phrases might trigger conflict. It also offers short templates for common landmines: unrealistic deadlines, scope creep, credit-stealing, after-hours demands, and vague feedback. This is not therapy and won’t fix toxic workplaces; it simply reduces avoidable blowups and helps you document decisions in writing. The MVP focuses on message rewriting, boss-style presets, and a lightweight history log for reference.
