ToolLendly is a mobile app + web dashboard that helps neighbors and small communities lend and borrow home-improvement tools with clear rules, deposits, and scheduling. Instead of buying a $200 tool for a one-time job, users can find nearby listings (pressure washers, tile saws, ladders), reserve time slots, pay a small fee or deposit, and get pickup/return checklists. The app focuses on reducing disputes: photo-based condition check-in/out, automatic late fees, and simple damage claims. It also supports “trusted circles” (HOA, apartment building, friend groups) so people feel safer lending. This is not a magical marketplace—supply will be uneven—so the product is designed to work best in dense areas and closed groups where trust and proximity already exist. Monetization is a take rate on rentals plus optional protection coverage.
