TopoReplica

TopoReplica is a web app that auto-discovers and visualizes database replication topologies across Postgres (streaming), MySQL (GTID), and Kafka-based CDC pipelines. It focuses on one ugly reality: most replication incidents are caused by misconfiguration, hidden dependencies, and drift between environments. The app connects read-only where possible, builds a live topology graph (primary/standby, cascades, shards, regions), and runs deterministic checks: slot/GTID gaps, WAL/binlog retention risk, replica parameter mismatches, and failover readiness. It then generates a change plan (commands and config diffs) that an operator can apply via existing tools (Ansible/Terraform/SQL). It’s not a magic “self-healing” promise; it’s a pragmatic visibility + verification layer that reduces time-to-diagnose and prevents repeat incidents. Best fit is teams running multiple clusters and regions where tribal knowledge is failing.
