TorqueTrace is a web + edge desktop app that captures, normalizes, and audits torque/angle and fastening outcomes from industrial robot end-effectors and smart tools across cells. It creates a tamper-evident “tightening passport” per serial number: target recipe used, tool calibration status, timestamp, robot program version, and pass/fail curves. The system flags drift early (e.g., rising torque scatter, cycle-time creep, abnormal angle-to-torque signatures) and pushes alerts to maintenance and quality before defects escape. It integrates with PLCs/MES via standard protocols and exports evidence packages for OEM/customer audits. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional for deterministic traceability and compliance, AI for anomaly detection on torque curves and process drift. Reality check: selling requires deep plant integration and trust; the product must be rock-solid and security-focused to survive in automotive/industrial environments.
