TowelTracker

TowelTracker is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that helps households and small hospitality operators track towel and bedding lifecycle: purchase date, wash count, fabric type, and condition notes. Users scan receipts or barcodes to create items, then log washes with one tap (or via optional smart reminders). The app estimates remaining useful life based on material, wash frequency, and user-reported issues (odor, thinning, fraying), and suggests when to demote items (guest -> gym rags) or replace them. It also builds a simple inventory so you know how many usable towels/sheets you actually have, preventing last-minute shortages. This is a combination traditional + light AI app: AI is used for receipt parsing and quick condition classification from photos, but the core value works without “magic.” Monetization: subscription for advanced tracking, multi-user households, and small lodging teams.
