TowerTriage

TowerTriage is a mobile + web app for rural network operators, ISPs, and community broadband teams to map real-world coverage and prioritize fixes using lightweight field workflows. Field techs (or trusted community volunteers) run guided tests—signal strength, throughput, latency, packet loss—while the app captures GPS, device model, time, and environmental notes, even fully offline. When back online, results sync to a web dashboard that clusters problem areas, flags likely backhaul vs. RF issues, and generates a “fix list” with estimated impact (homes improved) and confidence scores. It also produces regulator- and grant-friendly reports with audit trails, reducing the guesswork and paperwork that slow rural deployments. This is not magic: it won’t replace RF engineers, but it will drastically reduce time wasted chasing anecdotal complaints and help small teams spend scarce truck rolls where they matter most.
