TowMatch

TowMatch is a mobile + web app that helps pickup and truck owners calculate safe, real-world towing and payload limits for a specific vehicle and trailer combo. Users scan their door-jamb sticker and VIN, then enter (or scan) trailer GVWR, tongue weight, passengers, cargo, hitch type, and bed setup. The app outputs a clear “green/yellow/red” result with the limiting factor (payload, rear axle, GCWR, hitch rating, tire load, etc.) and a checklist of what to change to get compliant. It also stores multiple rigs, generates a shareable PDF for dealerships/rental yards, and includes a simple pre-tow inspection checklist. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional calculations and rules, plus AI-powered sticker/VIN data extraction and trailer spec parsing from photos/listings. It’s not glamorous, but it solves a frequent and expensive mistake.
