TowProof is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that helps drivers avoid tow scams and wasted wait times by verifying roadside providers in real time. When you request help, the app generates a one-time job token and requires the arriving driver to scan it, matching license plate, company, and ETA. Users see a “verified arrival” screen before authorizing any work or payment. If the provider can’t verify, TowProof guides the user to cancel safely and re-dispatch from a vetted pool. The app also logs photos, location, and a simple incident report for disputes. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI flags suspicious patterns (mismatched plates, repeated complaints, abnormal pricing) and auto-summarizes evidence for insurers or card chargebacks. It’s not a full roadside network at launch; it’s a verification and documentation layer that can integrate with existing dispatchers.
