ToyProof is a mobile + web app that helps toy and collectible buyers reduce fakes, part swaps, and misleading listings. Sellers create a “Proof Pack” for an item: guided photo angles, short video, weight/measure prompts, and optional UV/blacklight shots. The app then generates a shareable verification link and a tamper-evident checklist that buyers can review before paying. It’s not magic: it won’t perfectly authenticate rare variants, but it will catch a lot of common fraud (wrong accessories, re-sealed packaging, missing stamps, obvious bootlegs) and force better documentation. For high-value items, ToyProof offers paid third-party review from vetted hobby experts with clear turnaround times and dispute-friendly reports. The goal is simple: make it harder to scam and easier to trust, without requiring marketplaces to change anything.
