ToyScanLab is a mobile AI companion that helps parents and teachers extract real learning value from the toys kids already own. You point your phone camera at a toy (blocks, puzzles, dolls, cars, board games), and the app identifies it broadly (type, parts, difficulty) and generates 5–10 short, age-appropriate activities tied to early math, language, spatial reasoning, and executive function. It also suggests simple “upgrade” prompts (e.g., sorting rules, storytelling constraints, timed challenges) that make the same toy educational without buying new products. Sessions are designed to be offline-friendly and quick: 3–12 minutes, with minimal setup. Progress tracking is lightweight—more about consistency than scores—so it doesn’t feel like homework. The app is realistic about limitations: it won’t perfectly recognize every toy, but it can reliably classify toy categories and propose high-quality activities.
