ToyTrail

ToyTrail is a mobile app (with optional printable cards) that helps parents turn everyday toys—blocks, dolls, cars, kitchen sets—into short, skill-building play missions. Parents pick a child age (3–8), a toy type, and a goal (letters, counting, emotions, problem-solving). The app generates 5–10 minute “missions” with simple prompts, role-play scripts, and quick checkpoints to keep play moving without feeling like school. It also includes a lightweight progress view that tracks exposure (not grades) and suggests the next mission based on what the child actually enjoyed. An AI mode can adapt missions to a child’s interests (dinosaurs, space, princesses) and to parent constraints (small apartment, no mess, 10 minutes before bedtime). It’s designed to reduce parent decision fatigue and make playtime more purposeful without buying new stuff.
