ToyTutor is a mobile AI app that helps parents and teachers use everyday educational toys more effectively. You scan the toy’s box, pieces, or instruction sheet, and the app generates short, age-appropriate play prompts tied to skills like counting, spatial reasoning, phonics, and fine-motor development. It also suggests quick “level-ups” (harder challenges) and “rescue prompts” when a child is stuck or bored. Sessions are designed to be offline-friendly and time-boxed (5–15 minutes) so it fits real life. Progress tracking is intentionally lightweight: it logs what was played, which skills were practiced, and what to try next—without pretending to be a diagnostic tool. The app avoids gimmicky AR and focuses on practical coaching that makes existing toys feel new again, reducing toy churn and parent frustration.
