TraceChill

TraceChill is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that automates cold-chain compliance for small and mid-sized slaughter and processing plants. It ingests temperature data from inexpensive Bluetooth/LoRa sensors and ties it to lots, rooms, and timestamps, producing audit-ready logs for HACCP/SSOP and customer requirements. The reality: many plants still rely on manual clipboard checks that are easy to miss, easy to falsify, and painful to compile during audits or customer disputes. TraceChill focuses on one high-risk area—chilling, storage, and transport handoff—where deviations create immediate food safety and financial exposure. The AI component flags anomalies (e.g., door-left-open patterns, compressor cycling issues) and suggests likely causes, but it doesn’t pretend to “guarantee safety.” It’s built to be simple, offline-tolerant on the plant floor, and fast to deploy without ripping out existing systems.
