TraceLedger is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that plugs into existing ERPs to generate a tamper-evident, end-to-end audit trail for financial and operational transactions. Instead of replacing your ERP, it continuously ingests key events (PO creation, approvals, GRNs, invoices, journal entries, master-data changes) and links them into a searchable “transaction story” with who/what/when/why. It flags gaps like missing approvals, backdated edits, duplicate invoices, and suspicious vendor-bank changes, then produces auditor-ready evidence packs in minutes. This is not glamorous: integrations are painful, and buyers are skeptical. But compliance pressure, internal controls (SOX-like), and fraud risk are real, and most companies still rely on spreadsheets and screenshots during audits. The product wins by being narrowly focused, fast to deploy, and measurable: fewer audit hours, fewer exceptions, and fewer surprises at month-end.
