Brands create a “digital garment card” tied to an NFC/QR tag (or existing care label QR), storing SKU, drop, materials, repair history, and original point-of-sale. Customers can scan to confirm authenticity, view care instructions, book approved alterations/repairs, and generate a resale-ready listing with verified details. For brands, it reduces counterfeit returns, improves aftercare revenue, and provides post-purchase engagement without relying on email. This is not magic anti-counterfeit: it’s a pragmatic system that makes legitimate items easier to verify and resell, while making fraud and gray-market mixing more expensive and inconvenient.
