TraceTriage

TraceTriage is a web + desktop app for network teams who waste hours arguing whether “it’s the network” or “it’s the app.” It runs lightweight endpoint agents (Windows/macOS/Linux) that execute scheduled, standardized tests (DNS, TLS handshake timing, TCP retransmits, MTU/path MTU, traceroute variants, HTTP(S) synthetic checks) and correlates them with site, ISP, VPN, and cloud region. The product focuses on triage, not full observability: it produces a single incident-ready report that highlights where latency or loss starts, what changed, and which segment is most likely responsible. An AI assistant summarizes the evidence, suggests next tests, and drafts a vendor ticket with graphs and timestamps. Realistically, this won’t replace Datadog/New Relic or enterprise NPM suites; it wins by being cheaper, faster to deploy, and opinionated around “prove it” diagnostics.
