TraceTuner

TraceTuner is a web app that ingests OpenTelemetry traces and turns them into actionable performance fixes for engineering teams. Instead of another dashboard, it focuses on answering: “What changed, where is time spent, and what should we do next?” It automatically groups slow traces by endpoint, dependency, and release version, then highlights the top latency contributors and their likely causes (N+1 queries, cold starts, lock contention, chatty RPCs, oversized payloads). It also estimates impact (p95/p99 savings) and provides a short, concrete remediation checklist per issue. This is not magic: it works best when you already have decent instrumentation and stable traffic. The product is designed for small-to-mid teams that can’t justify a full-time performance engineer but still get paged for latency regressions.
