TradeoffMap

TradeoffMap is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps people make high-stakes choices using structured decision frameworks without the usual spreadsheet pain. Users pick a template (weighted scoring, regret minimization, expected value, OODA, premortem) or build their own, then define options, criteria, weights, and constraints. The app forces clarity by requiring measurable criteria and evidence notes, and it highlights sensitivity: how the outcome changes if weights or assumptions shift. An AI assistant can suggest missing criteria, detect inconsistent weights, and summarize the rationale into a shareable “decision memo” for stakeholders. It’s designed for real-world decisions like hiring, vendor selection, roadmap bets, moving cities, or buying a home. Collaboration is lightweight: comments, version history, and a final sign-off. The goal isn’t to “pick for you,” but to make your reasoning legible, auditable, and less biased.
