TradeTrace

TradeTrace is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps NGOs and enforcement-adjacent teams monitor online marketplaces and social platforms for suspected wildlife trafficking listings. It uses AI-assisted image and text matching to flag likely species/products (ivory, exotic pets, skins) and clusters repeat sellers across platforms using behavioral fingerprints (handles, phone numbers, shipping language, watermark patterns). The app generates evidence-ready case packets: screenshots, timestamps, URL archives, and a confidence score with human-review workflow to reduce false accusations. It also includes a takedown/notice manager that tracks platform reports and outcomes, so teams can focus on the highest-yield targets. Brutal reality: this won’t “stop trafficking,” but it can make monitoring far cheaper and faster for small teams that currently drown in manual searching.
