TrailPermit is a mobile + web app that helps visitors secure time-slot entry, parking, and activity permits for popular parks and attractions—then keeps everything in one place. It aggregates official reservation links, permit rules, and capacity alerts across agencies and private attractions, and guides users to the correct booking flow without guesswork. The app also provides “Plan B” alternatives when a park is full: nearby trailheads, less-crowded entrances, and comparable attractions with available slots. It’s not a magic wand—many parks have fragmented systems and limited APIs—so the MVP focuses on a curated set of high-demand parks and a reliable workflow: reminders, documentation storage, and real-time status checks where possible. Monetization is straightforward: a small subscription for frequent visitors and affiliate/referral fees where allowed (tours, shuttles, parking).
