TraitTrace
TraitTrace is a web app (with optional desktop uploader) that turns messy plant genotyping + phenotyping spreadsheets into a clean, auditable pipeline for QTL/GWAS-lite insights and breeding decisions. Users import marker matrices (VCF/CSV), field phenotypes, and pedigree/plot metadata, then run standardized QC (missingness, MAF, duplicates), basic association scans, and simple selection indices. The output is not “publishable genomics”; it’s practical: ranked candidate lines, marker-trait summaries, and a shareable report for breeders and project leads. It also keeps a versioned record of datasets, parameters, and results so teams stop arguing about which file was used. An AI assistant is included only for data mapping (column matching, unit normalization, detecting obvious entry errors) and for generating plain-language summaries—no black-box science claims.
