TransferTally is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps individuals manage the messy reality of moving money and assets between brokerage accounts: ACATS transfers, partial transfers, IRA rollovers, inbound bonus requirements, and cost-basis follow-ups. Users create a “transfer project,” connect accounts via read-only aggregation, and the app auto-detects transfer-related events (cash outflows/inflows, position moves, account closures). It generates a checklist with broker-specific timelines, required forms, and common failure points (e.g., unsettled trades, fractional shares, options, margin, DRIP). It also tracks promo terms (deposit windows, holding periods) and warns when actions could void a bonus. This is not a trading app; it’s operational plumbing for people who churn broker bonuses, consolidate accounts, or switch brokers and keep getting burned by delays and missing cost basis.
