TreatySnap

TreatySnap is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for tax teams that need fast, defensible answers on cross-border withholding tax. Users pick payer country, recipient country, income type (dividends/interest/royalties/services), and recipient profile (individual/corporate/PE status). The app returns the likely treaty article, rate range, key conditions (LOB, beneficial owner, PE, anti-abuse), and a citation pack that links to the exact treaty PDF paragraph and protocol language. It also generates a one-page “withholding memo” template for internal approval, plus a checklist of documents to collect (residency certificate, forms, declarations). This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used only to extract and map treaty text to structured fields and to draft memos, while calculations and rule gates remain deterministic. The goal is not perfect legal advice; it’s faster triage with better documentation.
