TreatyTrace is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps investors, advisors, and economic development teams quickly understand how bilateral investment treaties, tax treaties, and incentive regimes affect cross-border capital flows. Instead of generic “country risk” scores, it provides deal-specific checklists: eligibility for incentives, common disqualifiers, repatriation constraints, withholding tax implications, and red-flag clauses (stabilization, MFN, ISDS carve-outs). Users choose an origin country, destination country, sector, and investment structure (equity, debt, JV), then get a plain-language summary plus citations to primary sources. It also tracks policy changes and flags when a planned structure becomes non-viable due to new rules. This is an AI + traditional app: AI drafts summaries and comparisons, but every output is tied to sources and versioned so legal/tax teams can verify quickly.
