TriageTap

TriageTap is a mobile app (with optional web portal) that guides parents through common pediatric first-aid situations with a strict, step-by-step checklist and clear “call now” thresholds. It’s built for panic moments: big buttons, offline access, and short instructions that assume you’re stressed, holding a child, and have one free hand. The app starts with a quick symptom/event picker (burn, choking, head bump, fever, allergic reaction, poisoning, cuts) and then runs a timed protocol: what to do immediately, what not to do, when to escalate, and what to tell emergency services. It also generates a concise “handoff card” you can read to 911/urgent care (age, weight, meds, allergies, timeline, actions taken). It is a combination app: traditional protocols plus AI-assisted personalization (e.g., phrasing, localization, and summarization), but it avoids pretending to diagnose.
