TribalMap
TribalMap is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams add-ons) that builds a living “expertise map” across an enterprise. It ingests signals from existing tools—tickets, PRs, docs, meeting notes, and chat—then creates searchable profiles for topics, systems, and processes, showing likely experts, confidence levels, and evidence trails. Instead of another wiki that rots, it focuses on routing: who to ask, what to read first, and what’s outdated. Users can ask a question and get a shortlist of people, canonical docs, and recent changes, with one-click requests for review or handoff. Admins get governance controls, opt-out/visibility settings, and dashboards that highlight knowledge silos, bus-factor risks, and areas where documentation is missing or stale. It’s realistic: it won’t “know everything,” but it will reduce time wasted hunting for the right person and the right source.
