TribalTape is a web + mobile AI-assisted knowledge transfer app that turns real work into reusable “how we do it” playbooks. It records short screen/video walkthroughs, meeting snippets, and SOP drafts, then auto-generates step-by-step guides with searchable chapters, key decisions, prerequisites, and common failure points. Each playbook is tied to roles (not people) and includes a lightweight competency checklist so managers can verify handover readiness. The app integrates with Slack/Teams and Jira/Asana to prompt capture at the right moments (ticket closure, incident postmortems, employee offboarding). It also supports “Ask the Playbook” Q&A so new hires can get answers grounded in the captured material. This is not a full wiki replacement; it’s a focused system for transitions: onboarding, role changes, and project handoffs.
