TriggerTamer

TriggerTamer is a mobile AI + traditional mindfulness app built for real-life moments: arguments, inbox overload, cravings, panic spikes, and doomscrolling. Instead of generic meditations, it asks one quick question (“What set you off?”) and offers a 60–120 second protocol matched to the trigger: breath pacing, somatic release, cognitive defusion, or a short guided script. It learns what works for you by tracking outcome ratings after each session, then prioritizes the most effective interventions. A “Pre-Trigger Plan” lets users set rules like: if I open Instagram after 11pm, launch a 45-second reset. The app is honest about limits: it’s not therapy and won’t fix chronic conditions, but it can reduce acute reactivity and help users build a repeatable calming habit with minimal time cost.
