TriggerTrace

TriggerTrace is a mobile + web AI app that helps users build self-awareness by mapping emotional triggers to situations, people, and patterns. Instead of generic journaling, it runs a 30-second “incident capture” flow: what happened, what you felt (with intensity), what you assumed, what you did, and what you wish you did. The AI then clusters entries into recurring themes (e.g., “feeling dismissed in meetings,” “late replies = rejection story”) and shows simple dashboards: top triggers, common cognitive distortions, and your most frequent coping behaviors. It also prompts lightweight experiments (“next time, ask one clarifying question before reacting”) and tracks whether they reduced intensity over time. Privacy is central: on-device redaction for names/places and optional local-only mode. It’s not therapy, but it makes patterns visible quickly enough to change behavior.
